Watsonville Parks & Community Services has joined local partners at the forefront of the ParkRx Santa Cruz County movement because it aligns perfectly with our mission to make Watsonville an ideal place to live, work and play and getting outdoors in nature is a vital component to everyBODY's wellness.

  • Primarily taking place outdoors

Meanwhile, we are also working with our partners to pilot outdoor prescription programs with local medical professionals and more.

 To be "Park Prescription eligible", an activity must be:
​1.  Outdoors, or partially outdoors
2. Free to participants
​3. Regularly occurring, ideally over 6-8 weeks
​4. Able to track attendance
